“ I can confidently say this is my new favorite chicken spot, I truly wish I could give Mark and his team a 6 star review! The food and ambiance here is top tier. I got the three piece tenders with a side of coleslaw and the crunchiness of these tenders is unmatched! They have really delicious juices also which are the perfect level of sweet and refreshing. The owner Mark was super kind and friendly, he checked up on us twice to make sure we enjoyed the food and even asked us if we had any feedback for him and his staff. You can tell he's very passionate about the quality of food he serves which I appreciated a lot. “ The hugest tenders. Don't forget the crunchiest. Love some Red Chicks 2 dolla Thursday tenders. First time any location trying their fried cauliflower and fried shrimp. Love fired cauliflower and these were alright, but I wouldn't get them again. The batter isn't anything like the chicken, not bad still well cooked inside and nice bit of Nashville heat tho. The fried shrimp were expensive but they are just as good as the tenders. Great crisp flaky fried, and they are huge shrimp. Decent JoJo's I'm a sucker for. Have to remember to try at least xhot next time. Normal hot isn't too bad, but anything even plain they are the best single tenders period. Thin battered on the actual chicken but thick flaky crunchy. ”

This place is down the street from my house and I’ve thought about trying it before. Today a coworker was raving about how good it is and how she goes there once a week. First, I was worried the reviews might’ve been overblown. They were not. The chicken here is on par with the best chicken I’ve had in Nashville. My rookie mistake was getting the steak fries over the cheese curds. The steak fries were great, my wife got the curds and they were so good! The service: I’m not used to service like this in California. I felt very welcome and appreciated, Mark, the franchisee was very pleasant and told us about the restaurant. They were fairly busy too, at 7’ish on a Tuesday night in sleepy Carlsbad, that says a lot about a place. Excellent food and service, we will definitely be back! ”
